Guidelines for presentations


Plenary speakers will be of duration as per the programme.

Oral Presentations

Oral presentations are scheduled for up to 20 minutes (15 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for questions).

Speakers should bring their presentation (both in pptx and pdf format) to the registration desk in the congress secretariat, from August 4th or at least one day before their talk. Alternatively, they can send their presentation electronically to malacology2025@gmail.com to be entered into the central presentation management system.

A computer with PDF reader and Microsoft PowerPoint will be available. Personal laptops cannot be used for the presentation.

Posters

The poster session takes place from Monday evening after the talks.

Posters should be in portrait format in A0 size (90 cm X 120 cm). We cannot display posters in landscape format. Please bring your printed poster on Monday to the Congress Venue for the afternoon Poster session.

Lunch and coffee breaks could also be opportunities to present the posters. Please take the opportunity to read other posters and exchange contact information.

Poster Mounting

All posters shall be mounted ahead of the poster session, in a numbered position. The list of poster numbers will be also available in the congress secretariat. Please make sure that your poster is located on the correct board. Materials for mounting posters will be provided at the poster session venue. Posters shall be dismounted by the end of the congress, those that have not been removed will be disposed-off.

Printing your poster in São Paulo

If you would like to print your poster in São Paulo, you can use the stationery store service Aoki, which is located at Praça Francisco Nardi Filho, 66, Jardim Bonfiglioli, 05593-070 São Paulo (phone: (11)3731-2286). The poster material type is sulfite paper. Please send a PDF version of your poster to copiasaoki@gmail.com using “WCM 2025” in the email’s subject line. The price will be agreed with the store service. Once your poster is printed, the store will notify you by email, and you can collect and pay it at the congress secretary.
